Organising a trip for a group? Hire a minibus with driver in Nowy Sącz, southern Poland. The driver picks you up, waits for you on site and brings everyone back – locally, anywhere in Poland and across Europe.

Choose an 8-, 9- or 19-seat minibus: a Volkswagen Caravelle for a smaller group, or the 19-seat Mercedes Sprinter, which takes 18 passengers plus the driver. We pick up passengers in Nowy Sącz, across Nowy Sącz County and in Limanowa and Gorlice counties.

9-seat or 19-seat? Minibuses with driver for up to 18 passengers

• The 19-seat Mercedes Sprinter (18 passengers + driver) has adjustable seats, individual air conditioning, a parking heater and a DVD player. Larger groups travel comfortably in it, even on long routes.
• The 9-seat Volkswagen T5 Caravelle (8 passengers + driver) has an extended boot and a towbar for a luggage trailer, so it works well on domestic and international routes.
• The 8-seat Volkswagen T6 Caravelle (7 passengers + driver) is very quiet at motorway speeds.
• Cars for up to 4 passengers suit a smaller group or can run alongside the minibuses.

Minibus or coach for a larger group?

Count everyone who is actually travelling, including group leaders or a guide. A group of a dozen or so usually fits in one Sprinter: one vehicle and one driver, which often works out better value than two smaller minibuses. For more than 18 passengers we send several minibuses or arrange a full-size coach through a partner company.

• Two smaller minibuses can be the better choice when the group gathers in several towns, some people return earlier or the route runs along narrow mountain roads.
• A coach is more comfortable when several dozen people travel together over a long distance.

We hold a licence for international road passenger transport, so a hired minibus with driver can take your group outside Poland too. Our drivers speak English. On a long route the Sprinter with individually adjustable seats is the most comfortable; with lots of suitcases, choose the Volkswagen T5 with its extended boot. School groups, sports teams and tour operators

Planning a class trip, taking a team to a competition or a group to the cinema? The minibus comes to the school in Nowy Sącz or nearby, and the driver takes the group there and back. For years we have driven school and nursery groups, and we carry tour participants for tour operators. Send us your itinerary and we'll fit the transfers to it.

Day trips from Nowy Sącz: travel times by minibus

Most popular destinations are within 1–2 hours, so you don't need an overnight stay. Approximate travel times for a group by minibus, with a short stop:

Krynica-Zdrój is a good choice for a relaxed day with younger pupils or senior groups. On a Dunajec rafting trip the group boards the rafts at the landing stage, and the minibus can wait at the finish. Allow extra time in high season, on Fridays and during roadworks. Check ticket prices and group bookings directly with each attraction. Kraków, Wieliczka and Oświęcim don't fit sensibly into one day: combine Kraków with Wieliczka and plan Oświęcim for a separate day or a two-day trip.

Driving hours rules limit how long a driver's working day can be – and the whole day counts, including waiting for the group. A 06:00 departure and a 23:00 return is too much for one driver. For distant destinations such as Energylandia, agree departure and return times with us before booking and we'll draw up a realistic plan.

Hen parties and stag dos

Who drives on the stag do? None of you. A minibus with driver takes the whole group to the party, waits and brings everyone home. We drive hen and stag groups to clubs and restaurants in Nowy Sącz and the surrounding area, and on longer trips of several days – to the mountains, to Kraków or abroad.

• We pick you up from an agreed meeting point, or from several addresses if the group lives in different places – just give us the addresses when you book.
• We take you to the club, restaurant or other venue, and between venues if you are moving on during the evening.
• The driver waits on site and brings you back at the agreed time, even late at night.

Taxis are fine for a small group going to one venue in the town centre. With a bigger group, several venues or people living in different towns, a minibus is simply more predictable: everyone travels together, the driver waits while you change venues and you know your return time in advance. During the journey everyone stays seated, keeps hands, heads and objects inside the windows, follows the driver's instructions and asks for any extra stop in good time so the driver can pull over safely. How much does minibus hire with driver cost?

We quote every route individually, so we don't publish a price list or a single rate per kilometre. The price of minibus hire with driver depends mainly on:

• the length of the route, including the minibus getting to the pickup point,
• the size of the minibus: 8, 9 or 19 seats,
• how long the driver waits with the group on site,
• whether the trip lasts one day or several,
• road tolls and parking, especially abroad,
• the date: in the wedding and school trip season fewer minibuses are free, so book early.
