We provide wheelchair-accessible transport from Nowy Sącz and the surrounding area in a Volkswagen T6 Caravelle with a ramp. The wheelchair user and their family travel together in one vehicle. The Volkswagen T6 Caravelle has a fold-out wheelchair ramp and room for the wheelchair user plus family or a carer.
There's no need to lift the passenger into a seat or fold the wheelchair into the boot. That makes a short trip to the clinic easier, and a longer journey even more so, for example to Kraków or to a family celebration in another town.
We have been driving wheelchair users for many years. We talk every trip through with the family or carer beforehand, so nothing takes the passenger by surprise on the day.
Where can we take a wheelchair user?
To the doctor, for tests and rehabilitation
We plan trips for older passengers to a doctor or rehabilitation in Nowy Sącz around the appointment time. Tell us when the passenger needs to be at reception, and we'll agree a pickup time that leaves enough margin for boarding and the journey.
To hospital in Kraków
For a test, a procedure or admission to a ward in Kraków, we'll drive the passenger from Nowy Sącz, Grybów, Krynica-Zdrój and anywhere in Nowy Sącz County. Before the trip, check the referral or ask the hospital for the exact clinic address and entrance, because large hospitals have several buildings and sometimes several sites in the city. Pass this on to the driver, and the passenger will be dropped off as close as possible to the right door.
From hospital back home
Need to collect a family member from hospital? Call as soon as you know the day, and tell us which hospital and ward the passenger is leaving from. We'll agree the pickup time when you book; it's worth asking the ward when the passenger will be ready to leave.
To a spa sanatorium
Door-to-door transport to a sanatorium: the wheelchair user travels from home straight to the building, with luggage for the whole stay. We drive to the spa towns of Krynica-Zdrój, Muszyna and Piwniczna-Zdrój, and on longer routes across Poland. Before you go, ask the sanatorium whether the room and the entrance are wheelchair-accessible.
To family celebrations and the airport
The passenger travels together with their family in one vehicle. We can also combine a trip for a wheelchair user with an airport transfer from Nowy Sącz.
What to tell us when you call
The driver doesn't know the passenger's home or the clinic. Have a few details ready before you call:
- Pickup address with directions, e.g. the colour of the gate or a neighbouring building, if the house is hard to find.
- Getting to the vehicle: floor, lift, number of steps, a steep driveway.
- Destination and time: the address, the name of the clinic or ward, the entrance and the time the passenger must arrive.
- Wheelchair and equipment: type of wheelchair, walking frame, crutches, luggage.
- Number of people travelling with the passenger.
- Return trip: whether the driver should wait, or you'd prefer a separate return journey.
- Phone numbers for the passenger and a contact person in case of changes.
You don't need to give us a diagnosis or any medical information. We only need details about the journey itself.

Questions about wheelchair-accessible transport
Does the passenger have to get out of the wheelchair?
No. The passenger goes up the fold-out ramp into the vehicle and travels in their own wheelchair.
Can a carer or family travel with the passenger?
Yes. Besides the wheelchair space, the Volkswagen T6 Caravelle has seats for family or a carer. Tell us how many people will travel with the passenger when you book.
Will the driver help with boarding?
Yes. The driver helps the passenger up the ramp and secures the wheelchair for the journey. We also carry electric wheelchairs. Call and tell us whether the wheelchair is manual or electric, and what the passenger needs on the way.
Can you take a patient from Nowy Sącz to hospital in Kraków?
Yes, we also do longer journeys. Give us the clinic address and the time the patient must be at reception, and we'll agree a departure time. Let us know, too, whether you need a return trip the same day.
Can the driver wait outside the clinic or hospital?
Arrange this when you book. If you don't know when the appointment will end, ask about waiting time and about a separate return trip. Waiting time affects the price.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially once you know the date of the appointment or the stay. We have one vehicle with a wheelchair ramp. If it's urgent, call anyway and we'll check whether it's free.
How much does transport for a wheelchair user cost?
We don't have a fixed price list, because we quote every trip separately. The price depends on the route and the date, and on how long the driver waits, for example outside a clinic. Call or write to us and we'll give you a price.
